DRIFT AND GRASSHOPPER EFFECT
Drift: spraying while there is a wind can cause pesticides to go into neighboring crop or bodies of water. If the pesticide is soluble, then aquatic life and other animals may be affected
- Drift: transfer by wind or air currents
- Grasshopper effect: transport by evaporation in warmer climates and condensation in colder climates
